Uttarakhand Signaller Purv Sainik Association (USPSA) provides a structured platform for former Indian Army Signallers to remain connected, participate in organisational activities and contribute towards unity, cooperation and mutual support.

Membership of USPSA is subject to eligibility verification and approval in accordance with the Constitution and Bylaws of the Association.

 

Who Can Apply for Membership?

​

As per the USPSA Constitution and Bylaws:

• Membership is available to persons who have previously been associated with the Indian Army Signals Corps / Ex-Army Signallers.

• The identity and eligibility of every applicant shall be verified before membership is granted.

• Membership of an ineligible person shall not be considered valid.

• Membership is voluntary and the final authority regarding admission rests with the Association / State Executive Committee.

Membership Process

​

Step 1 — Online Registration

Click “Apply for Membership” and complete the membership application form on the USPSA website.

The applicant will be required to provide the information and documents necessary for verification.

Step 2 — Application Review

After submission, the USPSA membership/verification team will review the application and verify the applicant's eligibility and submitted information.

Submission of an application does not automatically grant membership.

 

Step 3 — Approval

If the applicant satisfies the eligibility requirements and the application is approved, USPSA will proceed with the membership payment process.

Only approved/verified applicants will receive the official payment link.

 

Step 4 — Membership Fee Payment

The approved applicant will receive an official USPSA payment link.

The applicant must pay the prescribed Primary Membership Fee of ₹600 through the authorised bank account or approved digital payment method such as UPI.

 

Step 5 — Confirmation & Official Record

After successful payment, the payment record will be verified and the applicant's membership details will be entered into the official records of the Association.

 

Step 6 — Membership Activated

Once the required process, approval and payment requirements have been completed and the membership is officially recorded, the applicant will become a valid and active member of USPSA, subject to the Constitution and Bylaws.

 

Important: Membership Is Approval Based:

Submitting the online membership form does not automatically make an applicant a member of USPSA.

 

Primary Membership Fee

​

The current Primary Membership Fee prescribed in the USPSA Constitution/Bylaws is: ₹600 (Six Hundred Rupees)

 

The fee shall be deposited only through the Association's authorised bank account or approved digital payment method. A receipt or digital proof of payment shall be maintained in the official records.

Important: Membership payment should be made only through the official payment link or authorised payment channel provided by USPSA. Applicants should not make payment to any unauthorised person or personal account.

 

 

Membership Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility

Membership shall be available only to eligible former Indian Army Signals Corps / Ex-Army Signallers as prescribed by the USPSA Constitution and Bylaws.

2. Verification

USPSA may verify the applicant's identity, service-related eligibility and other information submitted with the application before granting membership.

 

3. Approval

Membership is not automatic. The Association reserves the authority to approve or not approve an application in accordance with its Constitution and Bylaws.

 

4. Payment

The prescribed membership fee must be paid through an authorised bank account or approved digital payment method.

 

5. Non-Refundable Fee

Membership fees is non-refundable. The bylaws provide that even in cases such as voluntary withdrawal, resignation, termination or expulsion, the fee shall not be refundable.

 

6. Membership Rights

A valid and active member may, subject to the Constitution and applicable conditions:

• Participate in Association meetings

• Participate in organisational activities

• Participate in the election process

• Vote where eligible

• Contest elections where eligible

• Present proposals and participate in organisational affairs

 

Only valid and active members who have completed the required Primary Membership and other applicable conditions are eligible for voting, contesting elections or holding organisational positions.

 

7. Duties of Members

After becoming a member, every member shall be bound to follow:

• USPSA Constitution and Bylaws

• Organisational rules

• Discipline

• Valid decisions of the authorised committees

• Organisational dignity and decorum

Members are collectively responsible for maintaining the dignity, discipline, unity and impartiality of the Association.

 

8. False or Incorrect Information

If information provided by an applicant is found to be false, misleading or materially incorrect, USPSA may take appropriate action in accordance with the Constitution and Bylaws.

 

9. Suspension or Termination

USPSA may suspend, terminate or cancel membership where activities are found to be contrary to the Constitution, discipline or organisational interests, following the applicable constitutional process.

 

10. Official Membership Record

Membership validity shall be determined on the basis of the Association's official records and approval. Membership-related records, receipts and details shall be securely maintained by USPSA.
